Solar PV works in quite a straight forward way,  and is not as complicated as you might think. This simple diagram above should explain exactly how the system works. Any further question can be asked by contacting us on 01928 567 759.

Solar PV Panels (on south facing roofs) will capture and convert energy from the sun into electricity (direct current).An Inverter will convert this direct current (DC) into alternative current (AC), to enable it to be used to power household appliances.

A generation meter will record how much electricity the PV panels have generated. Excess electricity will be exported directly back to the national grid.
